Mar. 31, 2008 By Press Release
Dyersburg, TN – Rough Country recently released the new 07-08 1500 Chevy 3” lift kit to their Easy Lift Line. By design, this new kit will level the 07-08 Chevy 1500 Pickup while giving the ability to run up to a 32” tire without breaking the bank.

The 07-08 Chevrolet 1500 Pickup 3” lift kit includes front strut spacers, which install without disassembling the strut or the use of a strut compressor. Driver and passenger side diff drop brackets are included in order to maintain proper CV axle angles and new upper control arms will allow for a true alignment. The rear is lifted with 1.5” cast iron blocks and receives new u-bolts and premium rear Nitro 9000 shock absorbers. This kit is complete and has an average install time of 3-4 hours.

Hello , i'm looking for a lift that works great on a 2008 chevy silverado 1500.... i previously purchased your 3.5 lift without the upper ball joints and control arms but had to sell it do to the fact that the installation instructions stated that the cooling fins had to be grinded down .... do yall carry a lift kit for my truck that doesn't require any grinding or cutting on my stock equip.? please reply as i'm looking to purchase another lift that bolts on without that kind of altering... thanks for your time and hope to hear back from ya soon.

I purchased the rough country 3.5" suspension lift 11 months ago, no moffroading, 20,000 miles and the ball joints are fried. Tore up 2 front tires @ $400/each. Called about wasrranty and was told that was common with suspension lifts. I also has the truck aligned after lift installation. Now another $650 to repair. Dont buy this product!!!!

I had one of these kits on my wife's truck. Over 20,000 miles with no issues. Tires had minimum wear. I have personally installed about 8 of these kits with no issues. I have one of the best alignment shops in the area do all my alignments. Fowlers in Phenix City Alabama. They have aligned over 1000 trucks for me, all with no issues ranging from leveling kits to 12 inch kits.
